Now that a major Northwest storm has sidestepped California as of Sunday, the
way is clear for dry weather powered by high pressure to dominate Golden State
weather for days to come.

High pressure will build on Monday. And it will hold sway over the state`s
weather through at least Wednesday. With high pressure will come dry offshore
wind flow. In turn, cloudless skies will afford widespread sunshine daily.

Warm spots in the Bay area will see at least 70 degrees. And there will be
80-degree readings in the inland valleys of Southern California.

One small wrinkle in this bright outlook will be that of patches of morning in
the Central Valley. Otherwise, the state; indeed, nearly all of the Southwest,
can look forward to sunshine in abundance each day through at least
Wednesday.
